During the printing process, scraps, toner dust and dirt can accumulate in the laser printer, especially when you use recycled paper to print.

Over time, the buildup of dust and dirt can lead to poor quality printing or paper jam and indirectly shorten the lifespan of the printer or its parts.

If you follow the steps to regularly maintain your laser printer, it can help extend the lifespan of the printer:

Please turn off the printer and remove the toner cartridge from the printer.  Wait until the machine has cooled down and take the following steps:

(Attention: Please do not place the toner cartridge under the sun or expose it to strong light.)

Please use a soft brush to brush off dust on the body of the machine and between the gaps.

Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean the body of the machine (but avoid touching any of the buttons).

After removing the toner cartridge, use a new soft brush to remove any buildup inside the printer.  Then use a dry, soft, lint-free cloth to clean areas inside the paper tray and the toner cartridge slot.

Attention! Please avoid touching the roller inside the printer to avoid damaging the printer. Place the toner cartridge back into the slot.

Put the cover back on and switch the printer on.  After warming up, use the function of "clean print cartridge" to print out a test page.

Different laser jet printers have different "clean print cartridge" functions. Please read your user manual.

Regular maintenance and appropriate use of the "clean print cartridge" function can help improve the quality of printing and extend the lifespan of your printer.
